bad credit?

reece asked:

If I have had bad credit in the past, and I would like to apply for a credit card but have already been turned down by one, how can I get a different one? Im hoping to rebuild my credit, all my old debts are paid off (including my car) and would like a credit card… the limit isnt important. Does anyone know any companies that will give cards to people with bad credit? Also, I live in Canada.

I have a credit score of 700 and wanting another credit card. I was thinking about citi bank or bank of america. What one should I get? I only have one other credit card from Wumu. I want a credit card that report to the 3 credit bureaus every month. Anyone has either one of these cards, if so, what one did you like and why?

Retailcreditman asked:

Lets say your ringing in a transaction and at the end of that transaction you offer your customer a 10% discount if they apply for a store credit card and are approved. Like most people they decline the offer. Instead they insist on using their card that awards airline mileage per dollar spent. Our card offers free shipping on full priced merchandise, 10% of first transaction, monthly coupons, and payments ava online and in store locations. The fine print of our credit card agreement is a 24% interest. SO my question is how do i convince them that our card is better and how can i make my store more successful in exceeding their goal to percent for credit? Since that is a large part of how our success is measured.

I requested a new credit card with a lower interest rate than my two cards now with the intentions of paying off the two cards with my new card. The new card credit limit is not enough to pay off the other two, however, so I don’t want it anymore. I requested it online, was approved, and just received it in the mail today. What will happen if I just throw it away without activating it?

With the World Points Credit Card what is higher a Platinum Plus or a Signature. What is the difference in terms of APR, Eligibility etc? What is the highest level of cards? Is My Concierege a good service? Are the airfares really without blackout dates? Is there accident insurance. With the new Bank of America World Points card with 1.25 points is the Platnium Plus the highest level?
